Position description

The UCLA Department of History seeks applicants for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach lower and upper division undergraduate courses in various fields of history, should an opening arise. Screening of applicants is ongoing; the number of positions varies by quarter. The department invites candidates to apply who are qualified to teach the following potential courses in European and ancient history:

• HIST 119 D, HIST 119B, HIST 97B (Medieval European history)
• HIST 120D, HIST 125A, HIST 122F, HIST 132 (European history)
• the history of early Christianity
• other topics as needed by the department
