The Department of Radiological Sciences in the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA has an immediate full-time opening at the Assistant Project Scientist level with the UCLA Brain Tumor Imaging Laboratory (BTIL).
The project scientist will serve in a key role in implementing and testing MR pulse sequences designed by the PI for his various research projects within the UCLA Brain Tumor Imaging Laboratory. S/he will implement novel pulse sequences for morphological and quantitative imaging and implement novel protocols and data analysis techniques developed and designed by the PI for a variety of neuroimaging applications. He/she will assist the PI with experimental design and data analysis and execute phantom and tissue specimen studies. The candidate can expect to program on Siemens, GE and Bruker scanners and provide technical training and support.
