Faculty Position in Theoretical Elementary Particle Physics

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position in theoretical elementary particle physics with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2019. Qualified applicants for associate and full professor positions may also be considered. The Department is seeking outstanding candidates with the potential for exceptional research and excellence in teaching. Candidates will be expected to have expertise in quantum field theory and its applications. Candidates will be eligible to receive the David Saxon Presidential Term Chair in Physics and will be invited to join the Mani L. Bhaumik Institute for Theoretical Physics. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
