Position description

The UCLA Stein Eye Institute and Department of Ophthalmology invite applications for an outstanding basic vision scientist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The candidate will join a dynamic community of vision scientists using biochemical, biophysical, genetic, cell biological, and physiological approaches to study a wide range of problems related to visual function and dysfunction. We are seeking strong candidates from all areas of eye biology. Individuals with a history of and commitment to mentoring students from underrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply. Excellent start-up packages will be available, as well as laboratory space in the newly renovated Jules Stein Building.
