Position description

The Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, is seeking an exceptional physician-scientist (MD or MD PhD) to conduct world-class research and clinical care. The appointment will be full-time in the In-Residence series in the Division of Neonatology. The rank is open to Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level depending on qualifications and experience. Demonstration of superior scholarly activity in the form of manuscripts, grants, and teaching is expected. The candidate must have completed Neonatal-Perinatal medicine fellowship from an accredited program by July 2019 and be fully competent in level IV NICU care including complex diagnoses. Promotion in the In-Residence series will depend on demonstration of high level of scholarly activity and satisfactory educational activities. Applicants must be licensed to practice medicine in California and be eligible for certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and sub-specialty Boards in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine.
