Description

The Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, is seeking an exceptional candidate to provide world-class clinical care. The appointment will be full-time as a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor in the Division of Neonatology. Duties include patient care, teaching and scholarly endeavors. The candidate must have completed Neonatal-Perinatal medicine fellowship from an accredited program by July 2019 and be fully competent in level IV NICU care including complex diagnoses. The clinical assignments will include level IV NICU as well as clinical attending neonatologist at Antelope Valley Hospital, Lancaster and/or other community NICUs where UCLA provides clinical care. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding clinician, with superior interpersonal skills and teaching abilities. Demonstration of satisfactory scholarly activities, teaching, and sub-specialty board-certification are a must for promotion in this series. Applicants must be licensed to practice medicine in California and be eligible for certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and sub-specialty Boards in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine.
