Position description

The Department of Sociology at UCLA invites applications for part-time lecturers to teach during the 2019-2020 academic year. Part-time positions may be available for the following courses:

SOC 1: Introductory Sociology
SOC 20: Intro to Soc Methods
SOC 101: Development of Soc Theory
SOC 102: Contemporary Soc Theory
SOC 113: Stat Methods Soc Research
SOC 133: Collective Behavior
SOC 134: Culture & Personality
SOC 145: Soc of Deviant Behavior
SOC 147A: Sociology of Crime
SOC 156: Race & Ethnicity
SOC M174: Sociology of the Family

Submitted applications will be kept on file. A PhD in sociology or another social science, excellent teaching, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
