The Division of General Internal Medicine & Health Services Research invites applications for an Academic Administrator to serve on a dual role of Co-Director of the Administrative Core (AC) and the Director of the Communications and Dissemination Core (CDC) of the Coordination and Evaluation Center (CEC) of the Diversity Program Consortium (DPC).
The CEC provides operations and data coordination and support, and conducts a longitudinal evaluation, in support of the Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity (BUILD) and the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) programs (known collectively as the NIH Diversity Program Consortium or DPC). The CEC organizes the activities required to attain DPC-wide goals and to measure DPC defined Hallmarks of Success at the student, faculty, and institutional levels. The overall goals of the CEC are to maintain the infrastructure required for the successful achievement of the BUILD and NRMN goals, to promote a collaborative environment across the multiple BUILD and NRMN sites and the NIH, to provide high-quality evaluation of BUILD and NRMN activities/interventions, and to disseminate best practices nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities will include working collaboratively with CEC leadership (Administrative Core, Data Coordination Core, Evaluation Core; and assigning work to the Manager of the Administrative Core (AC) to assure that all AC activities are fulfilled in a timely manner. As Director of the new Communications and Dissemination Core (CDC) candidate will be responsible for the accomplishment of all CDC goals and planned activities. Within both these roles, the candidate will work collaboratively with the DPC, NIH, and other key stakeholders within and external to the DPC. The successful applicant will also utilize human resource management skills and experience to work with professional staff and inter-professional colleagues to assure the efficient execution of administrative tasks by the CEC and successful relationships with members of the DPC.
