Position description

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Departments of Urology and Obstetrics & Gynecology seek a Director of Research for Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at the Associate or upper Assistant Professor level in the In-Residence series. Candidates should be fellowship-trained and board-certified FPMRS. We seek individuals with records of accomplishment as established physician-scientist-educators. Each candidate should have a record of success as a cutting-edge clinician, effective educator, and respected scholar who will lead the basic science and translational research or health science research efforts of our program and establish a clinical practice. Candidates should be enthusiastic about engaging in academically productive scientific inquiry, educating medical students, residents, and fellows, and serving the university community as part of one of the nation’s leading programs in pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Candidates with advanced degrees, especially PhD, who have competed successfully for peer-reviewed funding and those who also have a focused clinical area of interest are strongly encouraged to apply.
