UCLA Linguistics: Lecturer in Linguistics
Position description
The UCLA Department of Linguistics anticipates making one temporary, full time, non-tenure track appointment as a Lecturer for the 2019-2020 academic year (pending final confirmation of funding). The appointee is to teach from the following courses: Language and Identity, Bilingualism, Sociolinguistics, Translation, Language Learning and Teaching (Writing II course), and Language and Gender (Writing II course). The teaching load for the position will be six courses per year spread over three quarters of teaching.
Fall 2019 instruction will begin in the last week of September 2019. Further information will be provided at the time of hire.
