Adjunct Assistant Professor

The Department of Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA seeks candidates to join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for a full-time faculty appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities for this position include performing basic laboratory research under the direction of Dr. Justine Lee, training postdoctoral fellows, residents, and students in laboratory techniques and mentoring trainees on research projects. The candidate must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D., have completed a postdoctoral fellowship in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or biomedical engineering, and have had at least 5 years of experience as a senior level researcher in a basic laboratory. The ideal candidate will have experience in regenerative bone biology, regenerative biomaterials and their interactions with progenitor cells, a track record of peer-reviewed research publications, and a commitment to teaching. The salary will be commensurate with academic rank and experience.
