Interventional Radiology Faculty-Research
The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is currently accepting applications for a full-time Interventional Radiologist with a strong research focus. The successful candidate will join a large and productive academic IR group, with a practice spanning 3 hospitals, 6 outpatient environments and the full scope of clinical services. The successful candidate will also be expected to join in the academic, teaching and administrative functions of the department, with an appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Health Science Clinical Series.

The candidate will be expected to have a major commitment to research with a proven track record commensurate with academic level. Participation in the research mission of the Department is expected. The research role is as an intellectual leader and initiator of clinically-impactful research projects, as well as a collaborator in other research projects. Research projects include the investigation of innovative devices for image guided treatments. The Candidate must be board certified in radiology and fellowship trained in interventional radiology. The candidate should also possess a strong clinical skillset performing vascular and cross-sectional IR procedures. In addition to direct patient care, the candidate is expected to contribute to the training program for our residents and fellows, participate in IR and multidisciplinary conferences, and engage in developing IR treatment programs. A collegial attitude and commitment to teamwork as a means to growth of IR services is highly favored.
