Position description

The Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible full-time physician in the Health Sciences Clinical track to provide world-class medical care in the ambulatory care setting at the Children’s Health Center in Westwood, as well as community UCLA Pediatrics clinics in the Northeast Valley and additional locations. The candidate is expected to provide comprehensive primary care to children from birth to 21 years and should be skilled in caring for children with a range of medical, developmental, behavioral and social complexities.
Additionally, the faculty in the Health Sciences clinical track will be expected to teach and contribute to undergraduate and graduate medical education, and participate in research or other scholarly endeavors that qualify for academic promotion. Preference will be given to candidates with high potential and/or those who have demonstrated success in obtaining extramural funding and publishing peer reviewed articles. Experience in teaching is a strong plus.
