Position description

The laboratory of Dr. Thao Nguyen is seeking applications for an Assistant Project Scientist position in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Applicants should have an interest in basic and translational research studies of underlying mechanisms and novel therapeutics of cardiac arrhythmias. Aspects of particular interest include cardiac electrophysiology at all levels (tissue, cellular, and molecular), computational and statistical modeling, immnunohistochemistry, and molecular biology. This position involves small mammalian and zebrafish models. A PhD and/or MD required.
