Position description

The Department of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Languages and Cultures is seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach one upper division course in 19th-century Russian literature during the Winter 2021 academic quarter.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of 19th-century Russian literature (Pushkin, Gogol, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Chekhov) in its cultural, political, and social contexts. The ideal candidate must hold at minimum a M.A. in Russian language and literature, and have experience teaching in a university setting.
