Position description

The UCLA Joint Institute for Regional Earth System Science and Engineering (JIFRESSE) invites applications for a position of Assistant Project Scientist. The successful candidate will evaluate current and future product versions using large-scale models. S/he will also assist in the analysis of this data with regard to their depiction of important phenomena (e.g. tropical cyclones, trends in the ITCZ intensity, depiction of the El-Nino signals, etc.) The role will work and coordinate with professors and scientists from UCLA and JPL.
