Position description

The Department of Sociology at UCLA invites applications for part-time lecturers to teach during the 2021-2022 academic year. Part-time positions may be available for the following courses:

SOC 132: Social Psychology: Sociological Approaches
SOC 134: Culture & Personality
SOC 145: Soc of Deviant Behavior
SOC 147A: Sociology of Crime
SOC 156: Race & Ethnicity
SOC 158: Urban Sociology
SOC170: Medical Sociology
SOC 171: Occupations and Professions
SOC M174: Sociology of the Family
SOC M175: Sociology of Education
SOC M176: Sociology of Mass Communication
SOC 182: Political Sociology
SOC 185: American Society

Submitted applications will be kept on file. A PhD in sociology or another social science, excellent teaching, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
