The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting for a full-time Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the Abdominal Imaging Section in the Health Science Clinical (HSC), in-Residence or Clinical X Series. Titles in the HSC Series are assigned to academically qualified individuals who are in full-time service of the University, who are excellent in teaching and clinical service, and who are engaged in creative academic activities. Titles in the in-Residence Series have similar qualifications but with an emphasis on research and on an ability to successfully compete for peer-reviewed grant funding. Titles in the Clinical X Series have similar qualifications to the HSC, but with an emphasis on excellence in teaching ability and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must be eligible for California licensure and American Board of Radiology certification, and have completed a one-year Abdominal Imaging fellowship. Excellent knowledge and experience in abdominal CT, MRI, Ultrasound (US), Gastrointestinal contrast studies, and non-vascular intervention in the abdomen are required.
