Project Scientist - Materials Engineering
Position description
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science invites highly qualified applications for an Assistant Project Scientist position.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Civil & Environmental Engineering or related engineering fields and an excellent track record in research.
Research activities will involve research on thermodynamic calculations and analysis of brine-aluminosilicate systems with a focus on determining how the composition of the reactants result in the formation of stable hydrate assemblages.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, or Materials Science with two-three years of laboratory experience, including supervision of students and other personnel.
