Position description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA seeks to recruit an outstanding, academic, and dynamic Gynecologic Oncologist at the Assistant, or Associate level, who will promote high quality patient care delivery, excellence in medical education, and clinical and/or health services research. This position will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series.

The Division of Gynecology Oncology is an active member of the NRG/Gynecologic Oncology Group and has an ACGME approved fellowship in gynecologic oncology. Candidates will be expected to develop and participate in an active research program with clinical investigation. The competitive candidate should have excellent teaching skills. The position includes direct patient care in the outpatient and inpatient setting, interaction with trainees at all levels, and shared on-call duties. The position also includes clinical outreach within the UCLA Health System in the greater Los Angeles area. Candidates with a strong interest in developing a research program in translational and/or health services research are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must possess an M.D. degree or equivalent and must have completed an accredited Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship program. Applicants must also be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty in Gynecologic Oncology and eligible to obtain a California Medical License.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience, credentials and prior accomplishments.
