Clinical Neurosurgery Faculty Position
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
Full time Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor faculty position in Neurosurgery at UCLA.
The UCLA Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a highly motivated individual with dedication to the academic and clinical mission of neurosurgery to join our faculty. The prerequisite qualifications include: ABNS board eligible/certified in neurosurgery, experience and excellence in general, cranial, and spinal neurosurgery, with specific fellowship training in neurotrauma/NCC, peripheral nerve, or spinal surgery preferred.
Candidates will be expected to build/maintain a high-volume clinical neurosurgical practice, develop and/or continue a record of scholarly accomplishment, and participate in and/or develop clinical research projects. The successful candidate will be expected to play an active role in the education of residents and fellows in neurological surgery, as well as participate in regular teaching and QA/QI conferences in the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery.
In addition, the candidate must have or be eligible for a California medical license. Successful candidates ideally should have clinical research experience, as well as outstanding references. Compensation and academic title will be commensurate with experience.
