Position description

The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting for a full-time Assistant Professor in Diagnostic Neuroradiology in the Health Science Clinical Series. Titles in this series are assigned to academically qualified individuals who are in full-time service of the University, who are excellent in teaching and clinical service, and who are engaged in creative academic activities. This position is within the Diagnostic Neuroradiology Section.

This position encompasses all major diagnostic modalities: CT (26 CT: 20 dual energy and 1 photon counting) and MR (27 3T and 5 1.5T scanners), PET/CT (5 scanners) and MR/PET, as well as performance of ACGME defined image-guided procedures.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must be eligible for California licensure, certified by the American Board of Radiology, and have successfully completed a one-year Diagnostic Neuroradiology Imaging fellowship.

A strong academic track record in the field of diagnostic neuroradiology especially related to brain tumor imaging is required.

The position requires a strong interest in teaching, in clinical work, an especially strong interest in clinical brain tumor research and a teamwork attitude to work with one of the top brain tumor groups in the world.
