Position description

The UCLA Department of Radiology is recruiting for a full-time Assistant, Associate or full Professor in the Breast Imaging Section. The successful candidate will be an academically qualified individual who will be in full-time service to the University, who is excellent in teaching and clinical service, and interested in engaging in creative academic activities. This faculty position is part of an outstanding team of breast imaging experts who provide care to women in a broad geographic area served by widely distributed UCLA Radiology's Breast and Women's Imaging Centers.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

The candidate must possess exemplary patient communication skills and excellent clinical skills in all facets of breast imaging including full field digital and digital breast tomosynthesis ((DBT) screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI and all breast interventional skills including stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI-guided procedures. Qualified applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent. American Board of Radiology certification or equivalent certification (or be eligible to take/pass the certifying examination within 15 months of completing residency); completion of a breast or women’s imaging fellowship, and eligibility for a California Medical License are required.
