The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UCLA, Division of Anatomic Pathology, is seeking an outstanding M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. pathologist to serve in the section of gastrointestinal pathology. AP or AP/CP board certification is essential. Gastrointestinal fellowship training and/or prior independent sign out experience in this area is highly desired. The appointment would be at the level of Assistant or Associate, commensurate with experience.
The candidate will be responsible for clinical service coverage in signing out cases on the gastrointestinal service including liver and pancreas specimens, as well as general intraoperative consultations. UCLA has a strong and active gastrointestinal pathology division, and a busy clinical service, and the candidate would join a team of other gastrointestinal pathologists. The candidate will share responsibility for training residents and fellows. Creative contributions in clinical, educational or research projects is expected. UCLA offers a highly collaborative research environment that promotes interactions among faculty in the School of Medicine. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $450,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
