Full-Time Tenured or Tenure-Track Faculty Position: Division of Advanced Prosthodontics, UCLA School of Dentistry

The UCLA School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, tenured/tenure-track faculty position in the Division of Advanced Prosthodontics, beginning July 1, 2015.

The selected individual will be responsible for clinical and didactic teaching in the Division’s pre- and post-doctoral programs and will have the opportunity to participate in intramural clinical practice. The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program.

Preferred qualifications include DDS/DMD degree or equivalent from a dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or comparable foreign institution, and specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA-accredited post-graduate program. Board eligibility or certification is preferred but not required. Candidates without specialty training in Prosthodontics may apply to the position but must have DDS/DMD degree from a CODA recognized dental school and be qualified for dental licensure in California. All applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree and/or track record of successful extramural research funding. Demonstration of commitment to innovative, scholarly research, teaching excellence, and outstanding patient care is highly desirable.
