Description

The UCLA School of Dentistry invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track Lecturer position in the Division of Restorative Dentistry. The non-tenure track position is renewable on a yearly basis. The Division of Restorative Dentistry is specifically looking for a Part-Time Non-Tenure Lecturer who is available to teach a half or a full day, either on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays only.

The position will have primary responsibilities in the predoctoral didactic, bench and clinical teaching programs. Qualifications include DDS/DMD degree and a California Dental License. The candidate will be expected to work on a volunteer basis from the beginning of the hiring date, to at least six months and up to one full year, at which time students’ evaluations of said Lecturer will be reviewed to be considered for a paid position. Other criteria may come into consideration such as good standing with peers and commitment to teaching. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
