The UCLA Department of Sociology invites applications for two positions, one tenure-track at the assistant professor level and the other open rank (tenure-track or tenured), to begin fall 2015, subject to budgetary approval. We welcome applications from scholars in all substantive areas of Sociology whose experience in research, teaching, and community/collegial service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to excellence and diversity. Candidates are expected to hold a doctorate degree in Sociology or a related field by the date of hire, July 1 2015.
