Position description

The Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, seeks applicants for an Assistant Project Scientist position. The candidate must hold a PhD in Molecular Biology or Comparative & Experimental Medicine. The candidate must have detailed knowledge of mammalian RNA biology. The candidate must have demonstrated skills in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry, and specific skills in different types of RNA library construction (RNA-Seq, small RNA-Seq and CLIP-Seq). The position is full time and the base annual salary at 100% time is $53,900.

Successful candidates will be expected to publish results in scientific journals and present results at national and international meetings.
