Position description

The Cesar E. Chavez Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies invites applications for part-time lecturers to teach interdisciplinary undergraduate courses in Chicana and Chicano Studies during the 2016-17 academic year. UCLA has a diverse student population in one of the more diverse cities in the nation. The Department is particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for disadvantages students.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent expertise in their field of specialization and have at least one year’s experience at the college level. Salary is commensurate with experience.
