Position description

The UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (www.chemistry.ucla.edu) is seeking outstanding candidates for a tenure track faculty position in Physical Chemistry at the Assistant Professor level. We invite candidates in any area of experimental physical chemistry, and particularly those with a significant spectroscopic component to their research, to apply. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a strong and creative research program and to contribute to teaching in physical chemistry at the undergraduate and graduate levels. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required.

Candidates should provide a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a summary of research accomplishments (1-2 pages), and future research plans (3 pages max.), teaching statement and statement of contribution to diversity.
