UCLA Women's Imaging Fellowship 2018-2019
This fellowship will begin in July 2018, and will consist of six months of training in Breast Imaging and six months of training in Ultrasound, alternating between the two services throughout the year to allow for ongoing exposure to both modalities.
The six (6) ultrasound training months will be split equally between UCLA and Olive View Medical Center (OVMC). These rotations will include inpatient and outpatient rotations at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center, Ronald Reagan-UCLA Medical Center and Olive View Medical Center.
The six (6) Breast Imaging months will be similar to the existing 12-month training program for dedicated breast imaging fellows. This training includes rotations at the Iris Cantor Center for Breast Imaging at UCLA, the Barbara Kort Women¹s Imaging Center in Santa Monica and the Manhattan Beach Imaging Center. Training includes screening and diagnostic mammography (2D and DBT), breast ultrasound, breast MRI and multi-modality image-guided breast interventional procedures.
