The Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department of the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated engineering instructor to run the undergraduate chemical engineering teaching laboratories. The candidate will be responsible for overall supervision of the teaching laboratory including the maintenance of existing experiments and the development of new ones. He/She will train teaching assistants, supervise student experimental work, evaluate student written and oral reports, and provide instruction on laboratory safety, experimental statistics and technical communication. Ph.D. is required.

The Department is particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with students from a diverse background and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for disadvantaged students.
