Position description

The Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking a motivated, full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist who desires a career as a physician-scientist in an academic setting. The appointment will be in the In-Residence at the Assistant/Associate level. The applicant is expected to demonstrate a strong record of innovative research (appropriate for the level of experience), and have a strong publication record. Excellent written and oral communications skills and a demonstrated ability to generate external funding are essential. Clinical duties include inpatient and outpatient patient care and teaching of fellows and resident. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of California. Applicants must be board certified in Pediatrics and board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
