Position description

The UCLA School of Dentistry, in collaboration with the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI), invites applications for full-time, tenured/tenure-track faculty positions in the Division of Oral Biology and Medicine.

We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. Candidates are expected to be leading researchers who have significant experience using multidisciplinary approaches to understand microbiome/host interactions. We are particularly interested in candidates who have combined molecular biology with cutting edge nano-sciences to develop advanced tools and technologies for managing biofilm and microbiome related oral inflammation and diseases. Candidates will be required to have a PhD, DDS, MD or equivalent degree by the date of hire. The candidate must also be able to develop and maintain extramurally funded research programs and be involved in the Division of Oral Biology and Medicine’s graduate teaching activities.
