Description

This position (Tracking #JPF03211) is in Aerospace Engineering. As part of a major expansion, the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at UCLA is conducting a search for exceptional faculty candidates in space related research areas. Areas of interest include but are not limited to: spacecraft and space mission, astronautics, guidance, navigation, and control, and other space related cyber-physical systems, remote sensing, space craft power, propulsion, and space science. Applicants are sought at all levels. Our hiring priority is focused on the frontiers of space research, where a candidate’s impact, originality, and promise for building a strong program has been demonstrated. We are interested in outstanding candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship and to a diverse campus climate.

This position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent in engineering or a closely related discipline at date of hire.
