The Department of English at UCLA invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Old English or Early Medieval English Literature and Language. We welcome candidates whose teaching, research, and service reflect a commitment to diversity and excellence. Candidates should demonstrate engagement with the changing dynamics of the field both methodologically and topically, including (though not limited to) race, gender, post-colonial studies, global medievalisms, manuscript and material culture, disability studies, ecocriticism, digital scholarship, and new approaches to the history of English, and its regional and global futures.
