Tenure Track Position- Chronic Diseases

The School of Nursing at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) seeks applications for one full-time, open-rank tenure track faculty position. Candidates should be nurse scientists who have, or demonstrate exceptional promise for development of a focused research program relevant to non-communicable chronic disease; for example, cardiovascular, cancer, respiratory disease or diabetes, especially with a focus on interventions. Candidates must meet the academic and scholarly credentials to qualify for a tenured appointment at UCLA, including an earned doctorate, a defined program of research, and evidence of teaching and service excellence. Rank and salary will be commensurate with background and experience. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2018.

The school has a NIH-funded T32 supporting pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training in Vulnerable Populations/Health Disparities, and provides post-doctoral opportunities in the interdisciplinary National Clinical Scholars Program
