The UCLA School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, clinical non-tenure track faculty position at the level of Health Sciences Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor, in the Section of Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain, Division of Oral Biology and Medicine, with the starting date of July 1, 2018.
Primary responsibilities of the position include serving as Director of the Predoctoral Orofacial Pain curriculum, and teaching in the Orofacial Pain and Sleep Medicine postdoctoral residency program. The individual will provide expert didactic and clinical instruction in the pre-doctoral program, with an emphasis on Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Joint diseases. In addition, the individual will engage in research/scholarship consistent with his/her professional goals and program needs, provide direct patient care in the Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine Faculty Practice, and contribute service to the school, and profession.
Applicants must possess: (1) DMD/DDS degree (2) documented training in CODA accredited orofacial pain and board certification from the American Board of Orofacial Pain. A track record of scholarly activity, and outstanding patient care is highly desirable, as well as demonstration or likely commitment to diversity-related teaching/research/service. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
