The Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at University of California, Los Angeles, invites applications for temporary, part-time lecturer positions in various areas of environmental science/studies and sustainability for the 2017-2018 academic year. These areas include, but are not limited to; environmental science, sustainability, earth science, conservation biology, environmental policy and law, environmental economics and management, finance and entrepreneurship, life cycle analysis, environmental justice, environmental engineering, sustainable architecture and urban planning, food studies, and geographic information systems (GIS).
Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams, and supervising graduate readers and teaching assistants.
A graduate degree in environmental science/studies, sustainability, or closely related field, and excellent teaching, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
