Position description
The Division of General Internal Medicine & Health Services Research at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the Veterans Administration Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System invites applications for faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Professor level (MD or PhD). Successful applicants will have conducted outstanding, independent scholarly work in health equity and/or services research with clear implications for clinical practice or population health management. They must have or the potential to obtain peer-reviewed funding and to serve as PI on multidisciplinary research teams. For physicians, research training via fellowship or Master’s program is highly desirable. The position includes teaching research skills to fellows, residents, students and community stakeholders. Physicians will also care for patients as well as teach and supervise clinical trainees. The Division has ongoing collaborations with Schools of Public Health, Public Policy, and RAND as well as Los Angeles County Department of Health and multiple partnerships with local institutions and community organizations.
