The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, seeks applicants for an Assistant Project Scientist position. The candidate must hold a Ph.D.in Ecology or Biogeography or a relevant field, and have at least one year of experience beyond the Ph.D. The candidate must have detailed knowledge of MAXENT models of species distribution, GCM models, and spatial modeling, as well as the biogeography of California plant species. This position is part time at 20%-35% time.

Successful candidates will be expected to publish results in scientific journals and present results at national and international meetings.
