The Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, seeks applicants for an Assistant Project Scientist position. The candidate must hold a MD or PhD degree in Integrative Biology or related field. The candidate must have detailed knowledge of Neurophysiology related to sensory-motor systems in animals and human subject. The candidate must also have demonstrated skills in clinical examinations of individuals with spinal cord injuries and in delivering multi-dimensional interventions including drug delivery, sensory-motor training , and transcutaneous spinal stimulation.
Successful candidates will be expected to publish results in scientific journals and present results at national and international meetings.
