Position description

The Division of Adult Psychiatry within the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences is seeking an academic psychiatrist at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Clinical Professor, depending on qualifications. The position will predominantly involve clinical and teaching responsibilities on the adult inpatient service and serving as UCLA Health System physician informaticist, with some opportunities for research. Teaching activities will include being an attending physician on an inpatient treatment team and in the C-L service with regular instruction and supervision of psychiatry residents and medical students. Candidates must possess or be eligible for a permanent California medical license and must be board certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
