Position description

The Department of Italian at UCLA seeks applications for part-time and temporary Lecturer positions for the 2018-2019 academic year. Pending approval of funding, late or unexpected openings do become available. Applications will be kept on file for these occasions.
Responsibilities including teaching classes in beginning or intermediate Italian language, business Italian, literature, film, or culture. Classes also involve regularly scheduled office hours to consult with students, and the writing and grading of their exams and papers.
Requirements: Ph.D. in hand by June 2018, native or near-native proficiency in Italian, and experience in teaching at the university level.
Candidates should provide a letter of application, CV, and three names of reference.
