Paleontology/Paleobiology LECTURER - Winter 2019 (January - March) UCLA Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences seeks applications for a temporary lecturer position in the area of Paleontology/Paleobiology for the Winter 2019 Quarter. Responsibilities will include lecturing, designing and developing laboratory exercises, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams and problem sets, and training and supervising one or more teaching assistants for an upper division course in Paleontology.
Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. in Biology, Paleontology or equivalent discipline. Significant experience in teaching Paleontology at the college level is preferred.
The appointee will be expected to develop a new course of 18 lectures and 8 laboratory classes using materials in the UCLA collections.
