Position description

The University of California, Los Angeles, Division of Rheumatology has full-time faculty openings for Rheumatology Clinician Investigators. Each opening comes with requirement for a minimum 80% work in research in the field of bench investigation and 4 hours per week of patient care. We anticipate that the candidate will participate in basic research and continue preparing and submitting grant applications, that if funded, will provide salary and research support. It is anticipated that the candidate's research activities will provide results likely to yield abstracts and publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. The candidate will be expected to provide supervision of residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient settings. Applicants should be Rheumatology Board Eligible and have completed Rheumatology training by June 30, 2020.
