The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UCLA seeks applications for two temporary lecturer positions in General and Organic Chemistry lectures and laboratories during the upcoming academic year.

Recruitment Period: July 18, 2018 through August 20, 2018.

ORGANIC CHEMISTRY LECTURER- Fall 2018 (September – December), Winter 2019 (January – March), and Spring 2019 (April-June)

UCLA Chemistry & Biochemistry seeks applications for temporary lecturer positions in the areas of Organic Chemistry Lectures and Organic Chemistry Lab Courses for the Fall 2018, Winter 2019, and Spring 2019 Quarters. Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams and problem sets, and supervising teaching assistants for the courses. Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry or equivalent discipline and have significant experience and strong record in teaching organic chemistry at the college level.

Candidates should provide a curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy (max 1 page), and should arrange for 3 letters of reference to be uploaded to UCLA Academic Recruit.
