Assistant Project Scientist
The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles invites applications for an Assistant Project Scientist. The laboratory is located within Neuroscience Research Building 1 and the position is funded by NIH addressing research on biomarker development for neurodegenerative diseases. This position will focus on using brain-derived exosomes isolated from patient blood and developing assays for measuring biomarkers in the exosomes.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree with several years of postdoctoral training in exosome biology. The ideal applicant will have experience neurodegenerative diseases and biomarker development. Experience working in the fields of movement disorders and dementias is preferred.
