The UCLA Department of Psychology seeks to hire a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured early Associate Professor with a specialty in Human Learning and Memory. We are interested in applicants who are pursuing innovative research using behavioral, computational, and/or neural methods to advance our understanding of human learning and memory. Applicants may have interests in translating their expertise in cognitive mechanisms of memory into potential real-world applications. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field of study no later than one year after hire, and should demonstrate a strong track record of productive research. In addition to an outstanding record of research and strong potential for securing extramural support, the successful candidate will demonstrate a history of, or the potential for, contributing to the teaching, mentoring, and service missions of the Department and University. Individuals with a history of mentoring students underrepresented in the sciences are encouraged to describe their experience in the statement of contributions to equity, diversity and inclusion.
