Position description

The Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology, Ahmanson Translational Imaging Division, at UCLA is seeking an Assistant Researcher.

This position will be responsible for design and execution of preclinical targeted therapy and imaging trials in oncology. This individual will also develop, coordinate and execute preclinical theranostics research projects including targeting cell surface peptide receptors using alpha and beta radiation. Participation in the identification of suitable imaging and therapeutic targets is also expected.

The Assistant Researcher will participate in the teaching and training of undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral research fellows. This individual will establish and manage collaborations with other research groups at UCLA and elsewhere. Other responsibilities include leading data collection, analysis and preparation of manuscripts and reviews for publication.

Qualifications
PhD with focus on theranostics, molecular imaging and therapy. Strong background in tumor biology and extensive bench experience are required. Minimum 4 years of postdoctoral experience.
